I've been handing both of them the same work

Not locked. Muse and Grok Bot both get the daily work done. The part I didn't have before is that one of them can hand the next piece to another one, and I can watch.

Iโ€™ve been using both Grok Bot and Muse, and Iโ€™ve been giving them almost everything I can think of. Email, calendar, a drive folder, notes, social, the code, and the home server. I wanted to see which one Iโ€™d actually keep using. Theyโ€™re both good at getting the work done. I kept waiting for one of them to feel obviously smarter, and that isnโ€™t what showed up.

Muse already covers the daily stuff. It runs quiet watches and only speaks up when something changed. Research comes back with sources I can click, and if it couldnโ€™t confirm a fact it just says so. Itโ€™ll log into a site and walk a longer flow, and when the page blocks it, it stops and tells me the step I have to do by hand. It can look at the homelab over SSH, the disk, the services, and the cleanup I keep putting off. It can read a repo and tell me whatโ€™s there, whatโ€™s half-built, and whatโ€™s sitting on credentials. The drafts come back in my voice, and most of them I donโ€™t touch. If I set rules for outreach, it stays inside them, and itโ€™ll turn down an idea that looks like spam. It remembers the last conversation. And it still asks before it spends, contacts someone, or posts.

The part I didnโ€™t have before is that one of them can hand the next piece to another one, and I can sit in the thread and watch that happen.

One of them routes. Writing goes to the one who writes. A read of what Iโ€™ve been doing goes to the one who reads. Mail, calendar, and files stay with the one who handles life stuff, so the engineering chat doesnโ€™t turn into a household inbox. The one who knows what Iโ€™m watching stays on that. The one who checks the code checks the substance. They brief each other, so I stopped pasting the same context from one chat into the next. The one who routes only steps in when somebody is missing access, or missing the context.

I can add them to a group chat and just watch.

One of them can read a machine and hand another only the path it needs, not a second machine. A long file in Drive can come back shorter, with the sensitive fields gone, and then I can send it. A writing pass, and a morning look at the life stuff, can run on a schedule, so Iโ€™m not the one who has to remember to ask.

Websites are where the computers pull apart. I give the page to Grok Botโ€™s computer and I usually get the finished step back. With Muse I still do the last part myself. I donโ€™t know if thatโ€™s the machine or just how Iโ€™ve been using it. Thatโ€™s what Iโ€™ve seen.

Code is the same kind of handoff. Cursor has the repo. Grok Bot keeps the request. I review what came back, instead of copying the task from one into the other.

None of this is futuristic. Itโ€™s delegation with a good memory and no ego. The trick is standing instructions.

Thatโ€™s basically it. If youโ€™re running one assistant, or a few, tell me where it breaks. Ping me on X @opynrijal.
