I have four assistants now. Hereโ€™s which one I actually use.

GrokBot still gets most of my work. Spark handles my Google account. Muse gets less use. And Bauwa is just starting.

The world of Personal AI Agents (bots) have grown, and all major players now have a version. GrokBot still gets most of my work. Spark has a clear job inside my Google account. Muse is there, but I donโ€™t reach for it as much. And now Iโ€™ve added a Dot.

In my earlier post, I wrote about handing Muse and GrokBot the same work.

Spark handles my Google stuff

Spark is what I call Gemini. I didnโ€™t have to connect Gmail, Calendar and Drive separately. My Google stuff was already there.

I ask questions about it, or give Spark something to do in my Google account. Thatโ€™s basically its job for me. Itโ€™s my Google manager. It has other capabilities, and can do other stuff, but its interface is not as great, and I feel its very limited. I just give it light work.

It has a computer too, but that part is limited, and I canโ€™t take control of it. The Google side is where it fits into my day.

GrokBot gets the most work

I have GrokBot on my phone, MacBook and Linux box. It can access my computers, and I can access its computer. It can log into sites and do work Iโ€™d otherwise have to do myself.

Balakatha is a good example. I can have it generate videos on my linux box and upload them to Meta, TikTok and YouTube. The video starts on one place and ends up on several others. I can give it that work instead of walking each site myself.

I also create specialized bots with scoped work. Different apps I develop have their own bots, with the relevant Cloudflare and GitHub access ready for them.

For coding, it can talk to Cursor. The coding work can go through GrokBot too.

Muse is useful but gets less use

Iโ€™ve tried Muse with Gmail and Meta. It can do useful work, and its computer is good. In my use, GrokBotโ€™s computer has been better.

Muse is more like one bot with topic-specific side chats. With GrokBot, Iโ€™ve set up multiple specialized bots. That difference matters when Iโ€™m working across different apps.

I can see uses for Muse, like Facebook Marketplace. Thatโ€™s still a possible use for me. I donโ€™t use Muse as much.

Dot is the new one

Dot can retrieve my past ChatGPT conversations. It also has its own cloud browser and workspace. Coding work can go into separate Codex tasks in a supported environment.

I havenโ€™t run my usual website or coding jobs through it yet, and my Google accounts arenโ€™t connected to it. Thereโ€™s still a lot I canโ€™t compare from experience. The similarity here is to Muse more because it has just 1 bot or dot.

Iโ€™m starting with this post. I gave my Dot an earlier article and asked for an outline, a capability comparison and a draft in my language. Thatโ€™s its first writing test with me. I edited a bit inline in the ChatGPT app with codex window sidebar.

The comparison so far

The table is about my use. โ€œAvailableโ€ is still untested for that job. Where I havenโ€™t tested or compared something, Iโ€™ve left the judgment open.

My verdict for now

GrokBot stays my main assistant. It already does the website work and has specialized bots around my apps. Spark handles my Google account. Muse has possible uses, but I havenโ€™t been reaching for it as much.

Dot is too new for a verdict. Iโ€™m giving it something concrete to do before deciding where it belongs.

If youโ€™re running one of these assistants, or your own OpenClaw or Hermes, tell me where it breaks. Ping me on X @opynrijal.
